100-Year-Old WWII Survivor Rocks National Anthem

Not much really needs to be said here except, thank you for your service to our country and HOT DAMN THAT WAS AWESOME JOHN!

Watch as John Moon sings our National Anthem before a Western Illinois Women’s Basketball Game this season. Moon is 100 years old and a veteran of WWII. He enlisted in the military after hearing about the bombings at Pearl Harbor. He is the oldest known survivor of Iwo Jima.

You may not see a more meaningful National Anthem performance this year than this one. 



Of course the band sounded great too!
