Grand Valley Rocks Bluegrass Halftime Show

The state of Michigan is dominated by a number of big bands including the University of Michigan Marching band and Spartan Marching Band. Sometimes those two bands can overshadow some of the other great programs in the mitten state because of how much press their football teams get.

However, we enjoy finding the programs that fall through the cracks because their school doesn’t play big time program, but their band could go head to head with any other program.

Well, we found one for you.

Meet the Grand Valley State Laker Marching Band from Allendale, MI. This band program is on the rise and can absolutely keep up with their instate band brethren. We love their blue grass show from a few weeks ago and wanted to share it with you. The show features a bluegrass band and their circle drill! We hope that you’ll share it as well.
