They’re back!
The Jacksonville State Marching Southerners are on e of the biggest and baddest bands in the country. Their corps style drill work and monster arrangements are rarely matched and this year is no exception.
The past year has been a rough one for the band. This past March a tornado ripped through campus destroying parts of the band hall. Over the past 7 months they have been rebuilding and trying to restore their home to the way it was.
That’s a huge reason why the show this year is titled, “When I Think of Home”.
The Marching Southerners are under the direction of Ken Bodiford. Each year Bodiford and his staff march out one of the largest bands in the country and perform what many people think is impossible when you try to describe it. Each year he takes the Southerners to a new unimaginable level.
The finale of the show is absolutely packed. If you like big brass, killer drumline features and color guard? You’ve come to the right place.
Enjoy and share this wonderful show by the Marchinnnnnnngggggggg Southerners!!!
