The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners are one of the top band programs in the country and every year they take their incredible performances up a level. This year they are marching 530+ members and produce a wall of sound unmatched anywhere in the nation.
We were lucky to see them in person last year at the Division I-AA National Championship game in Frisco, TX and there really are no superlatives you can use to accurately describe just how awesome it is to see them in person.
Their corp style shows usually take about half the season to fully produce and until this past weekend the band had been performing partial halftime shows. This past Saturday they showed off their complete halftime show and truly it is one of the best marching performances you will ever see. Grab the tissues in advance because you are going to cry during the Pearl Harbor ballad.
