Happy 5 year anniversary College Marching fans!
What an amazing 5 years it has been. We started this adventure as a twitter account hoping to help create a voice for the collegiate marching band world. Over the course of six months we created our facebook page and watched as thousands and thousands of college band members, alumni, parents and fans joined together to create an amazing community of supportive and dedicated fans. Little did we know that Jim Rome would make a rather poorly thought out tweet during the Rose Bowl giving us a chance speak up and show how amazing this community is with #MarchOnRome trending world wide for three days. Nothing has been the same ever since.
Now we’re creating an amazing documentary series with the third episode ready to roll, visiting college bands across the country almost every weekend in the fall and working with some of the biggest brands in the marching band space like Ultimate Drill Book to bring you the best content daily on all of our channels.
We’ve worked hard over these last five years to make College Marching a place where best friends and families can come together to celebrate what they love. Where college football fans learn that marching band isn’t just for super nerds. A place where our voice and stories can he heard and told. And we’ve done that without ever paying ourselves a single penny.
