Tomorrow we will be celebrating high school seniors who will be making their decisions on where they will march next year in college. This is a great time to take a step back and celebrate all of the hard work these students put in throughout their high school marching careers as they prepare to accomplish their dream of marching in a college band. These students truly are special.
One student may be the best of them all. Meet Christian Lunsford. In 2013 his story went viral and still today he is considered one of the kindest humans on earth. At 15, Christian noticed a picture of his father on television, his mug shot. His father was caught after he robbed a 78-year-old woman who had just lost her husband and was visiting his grave site. Christian was saving his money for his high school band trip, but decided someone had to step up and pay back what his father took. The rest is absolutely beautiful.
