WATCH: Louisville Alma Mater Ceremony

We had the pleasure of visiting Louisville this past Spring to see them perform at the Kentucky Derby. They are a program rich with tradition and excellence.

During band camp the band completes a number of traditions that have become sacred to the organization.

One of those traditions is the Alma Mater Ceremony. During the ceremony the returning members of the band circle the freshmen members, light candles and sing the Louisville Alma Mater.

It is absolutely beautiful!
