The Chicago Tribune recently published an article that defined which sports were good to watch live and which were the best to watch at home on televsision. You can probably guess what they thought about most sports as we all probably share the same opinions.
However, one line caught our eye in their assessment of college football. They ranked it the third best sport to watch live behind the NHL and MLB. Here’s why they think it is so good:
“3. College football. There’s nothing like a big-time college campus on game day — the tailgating, the partying, seeing old friends. The experience of a live college football game makes this far superior to TV. And two other key words to the live experience argument: marching bands.”
Oh heck yea!
We knew we liked the Chicago Tribune!
