World Baseball Classic Showcases Pep Band

The World Baseball Classic wrapped up with the United States hoisting it’s first ever WBC trophy. Now the baseball world is looking forward opening day in a few weeks. 

However, we’re looking back at a video that was shared by the WBC’s twitter account. In the video they showed the world that Japan has pep bands that play for each batter.

In America our players have a song that they pick to get them psyched as they walk up to the plate to bat. In Japan the pep band plays songs for them.

How cool would it be to have this in the MLB!?!

If we can start this in college baseball it could catch on quick. Someone go and do this at their school!
